Everybody gets their say in this program as we’re all over the map. I think Dylan would be pleased that his al Compas del Mundo debut is accompanied by Madagascarian strings and Bahamian mumbles. Someone should warn Jonathan Sithole of Zimbabwe that Trump virtually stole his last name to malign the world’s less developed nations – could be a lawsuit lurking around that whole shtick. And Sergio Mendes? Really? What a pleasant discovery that actual Brazilian folklore was something he could pull off once he quit the hit parade chase. Que viva everybody! [J.H.]
[Ed. Note: Beat-yo-feet-on-the diddley-tao, Rag Mama!]
