Happy Hebrew Poetry Month

Love is as fierce as death
passion is as harsh as the grave
its flashes are raging fires, violent flames.
fast floods cannot quench love, nor can rivers sweep it away.
If a man were to offer his weath for love, he would be laughed to scorn.
