We develop the habit

On the road

To speak in prayer with creation every day 

That we are given.

We recall what the elders said
about the horse that breaks down 

on the road to Antioch

the one ridden by Saul 

looking for a new way of being 

while living in the world
but changing focus
from the world
to being with the Lord 

and hearing the voice of creation

It is no Houdini but

Creation wants us 

to open our hearts to grace 

And we do so

as we develop the habit

On the road

To speak in prayer with creation every day 

That we are given.
