Dancing on our grave

via GIPHY

When my sister died, they bought a stone/when the stone arrived, they went to see it/my brother coming along. my father was very glad to have a grave and headstone, as he'd almost fallen into the Medeterranean from a B-25 in WWII, and had urgently wresteled with the fact that he could just disappear/so 'they danced on their grave'/ he left in Feb 2005, she in Mar 2018, with total faith they'd be together hereafter/ I always felt my mother had greater humor than my father ... but looking at these pictures I see that he made her laugh, and that there are two parts of humor - making humor and enjoying humor. - Jack Vaughan (photos: Michael Vaughan)
