I'd just signed up for school and I was at the ticket counter at the student union on a Friday night just me myself and I nothing to do and nobody else really around. Except Dana. And he came up to me - to ask me to sign a petition. Which I took as pretty exciting cause here I was in Madison, the center of radicalism, wow, and I was going to sign a petition! What was the petition? I asked Dana. To restore the Tuba section in the University Marching Band. Was his answer. I signed, and laughed. Far out. Here I am!
